Microgen Hygiene is a renowned name in the field of Infection Control and disinfection, having it’s presence in more than 2000 healthcare facilities across India. Having its sales team in eastern India, the company is looking for a Microbiologist to support the sales team with scientific communication to the customers. The Microbiologist will be based at Kolkata, reporting to the Zonal Sales Manager, covering West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar and the NE States. This is an equal opportunity role and requires extensive outstation travelling. Please read all the details before applying.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Microbiologist will be conducting scientific sessions and product training with the Nursing, Biomedical, House-keeping and Laboratory teams of hospital as per calendar set by the sales team.
  • The microbiologist will develop and maintain a synergistic relationship with the key stakeholders of the hospitals including HICCs, through scientific communication and consultative approach.
  • The microbiologist will take feedback of each session, monitor the business outcome and share actionable inputs with the sales team.
  • The microbiologist will constantly study the recent developments in the field of infection control/ disease control/ public health/ Global best infection control practices, trends etc. and provide actionable inputs to the management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

M.sc in Microbiology with 0-2 years of experience in IC/QC/ Training role.Must have superb domain knowledge with clear idea of NABH, NABL and JCI Infection Control protocolsA superb communicator with excellent Ppt and XL skillMust be highly energetic and willing to travel extensively across eastern India

Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Microbiology
